Wirtgen Organises Wirtgen Tech Symposium

Wirtgen Group in India celebrated the Wirtgen Tech Symposium, Maharashtra on July 8, 2025 at the Pune Plant. We also marked important milestones of inauguration of our new workshop, product launch of Kleemann Screen MSS 1102, and inauguration of the Hamm Mini Tandem assembly hall. The inauguration ceremony was graced by Volker Knickel, CEO, Wirtgen Group, who was joined by the senior leadership team from Wirtgen Group and Wirtgen India.

The event showcased our commitment to drive cutting edge technologies aligned with our market leadership for concrete paving. Our Expert speakers: Professor DV Singh, IIT Mumbai, and Vikas Thakar, Managing Director, Pavetech Consultants, shared their valuable insights for topics on in-situ stabilisation of existing pavements for durable base – concrete and flexible pavements.

Around 120 esteemed customers from Maharashtra attended this event. Engaging with them directly at this symposium reaffirmed our vision for smarter, safer and more sustainable technologies – and also emphasised the Wirtgen Group as a technology and innovation leader in road building and road rehabilitation technologies.
