AIIA Pushes for Wider Ayush Insurance and Research Ties

The meeting followed the recent inauguration of the Project Management Unit (PMU) for Ayush insurance-related matters at AIIA by Union Minister of State for Ayush (Independent Charge) Prataprao Jadhav.
Prof. Prajapati emphasised that the PMU would create a transparent and efficient environment for all stakeholders, supporting timely implementation of Ayush insurance schemes. He added that AIIA would play a central role in providing easy access to information and benefits under various Ayush insurance initiatives.
On the same occasion, Prof. Prajapati also welcomed Dr. Sanjay Srivastava, Vice Chancellor of Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (MRIIRS), Faridabad. Their meeting explored collaborative research opportunities and academic partnerships to promote evidence-based practices in Ayurveda.
Speaking at the event, Prof. Prajapati stated,
“AIIA is committed to fostering meaningful collaborations that bridge traditional wisdom with modern science. Strengthening research partnerships and policy frameworks, including insurance inclusion, will greatly enhance the reach and credibility of the Ayush systems.”
The discussions underscore AIIA’s broader commitment to advancing holistic health, policy innovation, and research-driven integration of traditional medicine within modern healthcare frameworks.
By strengthening partnerships with academic institutions and government bodies, AIIA continues to position itself as a key driver of Ayush sector transformation, promoting universal wellness, affordability, and scientific validation of India’s traditional medical heritage.
