NAREDCO Appoints Parveen Jain as President and Dr. Hiranandani as Chairman

The National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO), the apex body of India’s real estate sector under the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, has announced the election of Parveen Jain as President and Dr. Niranjan Hiranandani as Chairman. The appointments mark a new phase of leadership focused on driving transparency, innovation, and sustainability across the industry.
Parveen Jain, Founder and Managing Director of Tulip Infratech, is recognised as one of North India’s most respected real estate leaders. Under his leadership, Tulip has delivered landmark residential and commercial projects known for quality, timely delivery, and modern design.
“It is a privilege to once again lead NAREDCO,” said Parveen Jain. “Our aim is to promote transparency, advocate progressive policies, and drive sustainable growth aligned with India’s economic vision. NAREDCO will continue to bridge the government and industry, ensuring responsible and inclusive development.”
Dr. Niranjan Hiranandani, Co-Founder and Managing Director of the Hiranandani Group, lauded the Council’s pivotal role in aligning government and industry goals. “With Parveen Jain’s visionary leadership, NAREDCO will further enhance industry credibility and contribute to India’s development priorities,” he stated.
The NAREDCO Governing Council expressed full support for the new leadership, noting that both Praveen Jain and Dr. Hiranandani bring decades of experience and a shared vision of sustainable urban transformation. The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs congratulated the duo and reaffirmed its support for NAREDCO’s efforts to foster innovation and regulatory efficiency.
Praveen Jain, who previously served as NAREDCO President (2015–2017) and NAREDCO Haryana President, was instrumental in introducing reforms that improved ease of doing business and boosted developer and homebuyer confidence. With his practical leadership and Dr Hiranandani’s strategic insight, the new team aims to strengthen NAREDCO’s mission of building a transparent, progressive, and globally competitive real estate sector.
