Bridgestone Unveils Potenza Sport EVO with ENLITEN Technology

Bridgestone, a global leader in premium tyres and mobility solutions, has introduced the Potenza Sport EVO, an ultra-high-performance tyre powered by ENLITEN Technology. Building on the multi-award-winning Potenza Sport, the new-generation tyre offers superior sports performance, improved wet handling, longer wear life and greater fuel and energy efficiency—alongside an expanded size portfolio.

The Potenza Sport EVO delivers exceptional high-speed control and stability in both straight-line driving and cornering. The tyre achieves a best-in-class EU label A-grade for wet grip, providing a 5 per cent shorter braking distance on wet surfaces and 2 per cent shorter braking in dry conditions compared to its predecessor.

Durability has also been significantly enhanced, with the tyre offering 15 per cent longer mileage—equivalent to approximately 6,000 additional kilometres. Additionally, optimised rolling resistance delivers up to 6 per cent better fuel efficiency and extended EV driving range.

“The new Bridgestone Potenza Sport EVO with ENLITEN Technology is engineered for high-performance vehicles and demanding drivers, across all powertrains,” said Stefano Sanchini, Vice President Consumer Replacement, Bridgestone EMEA. “Building on the success of the original Potenza Sport—chosen as OEM fitment by iconic brands such as Lamborghini, Maserati and Porsche—it proudly carries forward the Potenza legacy.”

The tyre’s premium performance and sustainability credentials are enabled by ENLITEN Technology, Bridgestone’s next-generation engineering approach that enhances efficiency without compromising performance. The technology also ensures the tyre is fully EV-ready, meeting the unique needs of both electric and internal combustion engine vehicles.

Key advancements include an all-new high-stiffness compound for improved cornering stability, hybrid crown reinforcement, a stiff carcass construction and a sporty profile with asymmetric wall angles. A bespoke compound with optimised inorganic fillers, improved polymer-filler interaction and a precisely engineered tread pattern further elevates wet grip and abrasion resistance.

Developed and manufactured in Europe, the Potenza Sport EVO with ENLITEN Technology will be available in 128 sizes across 18–23 inches, including 40 new sizes. The tyre will be launched in two phases—92 sizes in January 2026, followed by the remaining sizes in 2027—and will be available across multiple global markets.
