What are the new products you are showcasing at EXCON 2025?
At EXCON 2025, we are showcasing the new 20-tonne upgraded facelift SMART X PLUS Series – R210, R215, R215L, R230LM, and R245LR. These excavators feature upgraded hydraulics, refined electronic controls, and a stronger structure that supports faster cycles, smoother operation, and higher durability in demanding work conditions.
We are also introducing our BS-V wheel loader lineup with cleaner and more efficient engines. Along with these, the upgraded 3 to 5 tonne wheel loaders HL630I and HL650I deliver stronger breakout force, improved hydraulic response, and better operator comfort.
How are your machines addressing the demand for efficiency, safety, and sustainability in India’s infrastructure growth?
The SMART X PLUS excavators and BS-V wheel loaders are designed to deliver quicker cycles, better fuel efficiency, and steady performance. Upgraded hydraulics and powertrains increase working speed, while refined electronic systems help the machine manage fuel more effectively.
Safety is improved through wider visibility, updated cabin layouts, clearer alerts, and support features that help operators maintain consistent output. BS-V engines and telematics further support responsible operation by reducing idle hours, lowering emissions, and giving customers precise machine information for maintenance and planning.
These improvements help customers achieve higher productivity, safer operations, and more efficient equipment use across infrastructure projects.
How are you incorporating digital technologies like telematics, AI, or automation in your machines?
We are integrating digital systems that help customers monitor machines more accurately and run their fleets with better control. Hi Mate, telematics provides real-time data on utilisation, fuel use, machine condition, location, and alerts. This helps customers plan service schedules, manage idle hours, and maintain steady performance across sites.
We are also adding intelligent sensors and electronic controls that improve engine–hydraulic coordination, support smoother operation, and assist operators with consistent output. AI-based diagnostics are being expanded to identify issues earlier and guide maintenance actions before they affect productivity.
While full automation is still an industry-wide journey, we are strengthening the foundation with connected machines, advanced diagnostics, and data-driven visibility that make day-to-day operations more predictable, safer, and easier to manage.
How is your company addressing after-sales service and spare parts availability in remote project sites?
We support remote project sites through a strong and growing nationwide network. With more than 225 service touchpoints, supported by six regional offices and dedicated parts warehouses, we can move parts quickly and respond to customer needs without delay—even in difficult project environments.
Today, over 45,000 Hyundai machines are working across India, and our field teams are trained to provide on-site maintenance and urgent technical assistance whenever required. For long-term value, our XL Rebuild Centre in Pune helps customers extend machine life in a cost-effective way by restoring equipment to near-original performance.
Our Hi Mate telematics adds another layer of support by giving us real-time insights into machine health, enabling proactive service planning and helping prevent unplanned downtime.
Together, these capabilities allow us to keep machines running reliably and ensure customers get dependable support wherever their projects take them.
