PALFINGER’s Strong Showing at EXCON 2025

PALFINGER strengthened its long-term commitment to India at EXCON 2025, marking its largest participation at the exhibition with a 1,000 sq m booth. The global lifting and technology solutions provider showcased advanced lifting equipment, digital solutions and outlined a clear roadmap for expanding its India operations.

India has emerged as a priority growth market for PALFINGER, driven by sustained infrastructure development and rising demand for high-performance lifting solutions. Alexander Susanek, COO, PALFINGER, said India is playing an increasingly influential role in the company’s global strategy and will be a key driver of innovation and growth in the APAC region. He added that investments in engineering, digitalisation and future manufacturing reflect PALFINGER’s intent to build sustainable, locally anchored growth in the country.

Product Launches and Digital Solutions
At EXCON 2025, PALFINGER showcased a comprehensive product portfolio tailored to Indian applications. Key highlights included the India premiere of the PK 480 TEC loader crane with PJ075 B fly-jib, the PK 23.001L TEC 3, along with the M100 LD80, PK 6500 distribution crane and the P240A aerial work platform.

The company also demonstrated its expanding digital ecosystem, including PALFINGER CONNECTED for predictive maintenance, fleet insights and remote diagnostics. Live demonstrations of the VR Operator Simulator showcased advanced training and safety capabilities, while a dedicated spare parts and service zone highlighted PALFINGER’s expanding national support network.

Santhosh Rao, Vice President – Regional Sales & Service, APAC, PALFINGER, said the company’s India business has grown steadily through localisation, service capabilities and strong partner engagement. He noted that the introduction of the TEC series in India aligns with growing market requirements, supported by an expanded partner network and upcoming certified operator training programmes in collaboration with the Infrastructure Equipment Skill Council.

Strategy 2030+ and Local Investments
PALFINGER’s EXCON participation aligns with its ‘Reach Higher’ Strategy 2030+, which focuses on customer value, balanced global growth and execution excellence. A key development is the inauguration of its Global Development Centre in Pune, set up with L&T Technology Services, integrating Indian engineering talent into PALFINGER’s global R&D ecosystem.

The company is also expanding its partner and service footprint nationwide and progressing plans for a future manufacturing facility in India, guided by its ‘in the region, for the region’ approach. These initiatives aim to enhance local responsiveness, strengthen value creation and support long-term growth in the Indian market.
