IEEMA Launches ELECRAMA 2027, World’s Largest Electrical Show

Indian Electrical & Electronics Manufacturers’ Association (IEEMA) has officially announced the 17th edition of ELECRAMA, billed as the world’s largest electrical show. ELECRAMA 2027 will be held from February 20 to February 24, 2027 at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, Delhi. The upcoming edition will be organised under the theme “Harnessing the power of ‘I’.”
According to IEEMA, the theme highlights multiple dimensions including India’s growing global capabilities, intelligence-led innovation, industry impact, immersive stakeholder experiences, knowledge-driven insights through conferences, and international collaboration to strengthen global connectivity.
The event will focus on key areas such as sustainability, innovation, safety, and the expanding role of artificial intelligence and digitalisation in the energy ecosystem. Germany has been named the Partner Country for ELECRAMA 2027, reflecting IEEMA’s push for stronger global engagement and technology collaboration.
At the launch event, Ghanshyam Prasad, Chairperson, CEA, Government of India, said, “I expect the industry to scale quickly, do backward integration and focus on quality that is my ask from all of you and from ELECRAMA.”
Sharing details of the exhibition, Hartek Singh, Chair, said the show will span more than 1,10,000 square metres and feature over 1,100 exhibitors from across the world, along with 10 dedicated country pavilions. “We expect over 5,00,000 visitor footfalls and participation from around 500 international buyers, creating strong global business opportunities. Through the platform, we are targeting over 25,000 B2B meetings, which we estimate will generate business enquiries worth close to USD 25 billion,” he added.
Shri Vikram Gandotra, President, said, “ELECRAMA has evolved far beyond a biennial event. Having witnessed its growth year over year to emerge as the largest platform for our sector. We aspire to break all records of ELECRAMA in 2027 and build value and business for our industry.”
ELECRAMA 2027 will also host co-located events including the World Utility Summit, Reverse Buyer-Seller Meet, Domestic Buyer-Seller Meet and the Electraverse Showcase. IEEMA said the edition will feature a stronger focus on renewable energy, digital energy and energy storage, highlighting technologies shaping the future of the power sector.
