Dalmia Bharat Limited was recently recognised for ‘Significant Achievement’ in the Manufacturing sector under Excellence for Corporate Social Responsibility at the 20th CII–ITC Sustainability Awards 2025. The recognition highlights the company’s structured CSR approach and strong community engagement across its operational regions.
Dalmia Bharat Foundation, the company’s CSR arm, implements development programmes across over 2,066 villages in 20 locations. Its initiatives focus on livelihood generation, skill development, rural infrastructure and environmental sustainability.
Under the Gram Parivartan programme, the foundation has reached over 45,000 households, delivering more than one lakh interventions aimed at improving income levels. Its 32 DIKSHa Skill Centres have trained over 29,800 youth, enhancing employability in surrounding communities.
Healthcare, education and infrastructure initiatives collectively benefit over 100,000 individuals annually. The company’s CSR framework was evaluated through documentation review, site validation and jury assessment, reinforcing its alignment with long-term sustainability goals including climate resilience and water stewardship.
