Donaldson honours 2025 patent inventors

Donaldson Company recognised its calendar year 2025 Patent Recipients and Inventor Award winners, honouring employees whose ideas and technical leadership strengthened its innovation culture and filtration technology portfolio.

In 2025, 213 Donaldson employees were named on patents granted during the year. The company’s intellectual property portfolio now includes more than 2,800 active US and international patents, with over 120 patents awarded in the past year.

Dave Mulder, Chief Technology Officer, Donaldson, said the recognised employees reflected the company’s technical depth, collaboration, creativity and commitment to advancing filtration technologies.

The 2025 Inventor Award recipients included Matt Goode for Emerging Innovator, Jon Wood and Jeff Ptacek for the Richard M Negri Manufacturing Excellence Award, Patricia Ignacio-de Leon for Technology Champion, the Quick Lock Yoke team for Technology Achievement, and Brian Tucker for the Frank A Donaldson Award.

The recognised patents and achievements reinforce Donaldson’s intellectual property strength and support its competitive position in the global filtration market.
