RAHSTA Awards 2026 Opens Nominations for Smart Road Innovations

RAHSTA Awards 2026 has announced nominations for the Materials and Technology categories, recognising the innovations reshaping India’s road and highway infrastructure sector.

With growing emphasis on sustainability, durability, digitalisation and safety, modern road infrastructure increasingly relies on advanced materials and intelligent technologies. The awards aim to celebrate organisations developing next-generation solutions for road construction, pavement performance, digital project management and smart mobility.

The awards will be presented during RAHSTA 2026, scheduled on July 8–9, 2026 at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai.

Organised by the FIRST Construction Council in association with ASAPP Info Global Group, the event brings together stakeholders from across the roads, highways, bridges and tunnels ecosystem.

The Materials category includes:

  1. Most Innovative Road Construction Material
  2. Best Sustainable/Low-Carbon Material for Roads
  3. Best Pavement Technology (Asphalt/Concrete)
  4. Best Use of Recycled Materials in Roads
  5. Best Performance-Enhancing Additive (Bitumen/Concrete)

The Technology category includes:

  1. Best Digital Technology for Road Construction (BIM/Digital Twin/GIS)
  2. Best Smart Highway/Intelligent Transport Solution
  3. Best Road Safety Technology
  4. RAHSTA Excellence in Innovation
  5. Outstanding Contribution to Road Infrastructure

India’s infrastructure sector is witnessing rapid adoption of technologies such as BIM, digital twins, AI-driven project monitoring, GIS-based planning, intelligent transport systems and advanced pavement engineering solutions. Simultaneously, there is strong industry focus on low-carbon materials, recycled aggregates, modified bitumen technologies and longer-lasting pavements.

The awards will evaluate nominations based on innovation, sustainability impact, performance improvement, scalability, safety enhancement and contribution to the future of smart infrastructure.

RAHSTA 2026 will also feature conferences and technical discussions covering geosynthetics, self-healing pavements, digital O&M platforms, sustainable construction practices and intelligent highway systems.

Technology providers, material manufacturers, research organisations and infrastructure innovators are invited to submit nominations and showcase their contributions to India’s infrastructure transformation.
