After commissioning, the contractor will undertake a two-year Defect Liability Period (DLP) and a 10-year comprehensive Operation and Maintenance (O&M) responsibility. These contractual terms aim to ensure sustained plant performance and operational reliability over the longer term.

The tender has been structured through an online procurement mechanism, and the digital authorisation of the bid was completed on 15 May 2026 under the approval of Pawan Kumar Singhal, Executive Engineer of the PHE Cell of the municipal corporation.
