The Advisor urged the executing agency to expedite finishing works to ensure timely delivery and emphasised that robust infrastructure supports effective governance and democratic proceedings. He took stock of structural and technical specifications and directed integration of advanced information technology infrastructure, modern acoustics and enhanced security systems, including e-Vidhan. Senior engineers and officials accompanied the Advisor during the inspection and provided progress updates.

He reviewed permanent restoration of the approach road to the fourth Tawi Bridge, a project allotted at an estimated cost of Rs 145.9 million (mn) with a stipulated completion period of 12 months aimed at improving connectivity and traffic flow. Repair and renovation at Yatri Niwas Bhagwati Nagar for the forthcoming Shri Amarnath Yatra includes temporary sheds, hangars, langars and laying of bitumen in parking areas and internal roads; the works are being executed at an estimated cost of Rs 15.9 mn with a completion period of one and a half months. The Advisor was also informed that construction of a 105-metre span prestressed reinforced cement concrete bridge over Balole Nalla at Gadi Garh has been completed at an estimated cost of Rs 72 mn within 24 months.

He inspected preparations for the yatra being coordinated by PWD (R&B) Division Satwari and visited the primary health centre at Yatri Niwas to assess healthcare preparedness for pilgrims. He directed concerned authorities to ensure timely completion of all works so that adequate facilities are available to the public and yatris. The visit reflected the administration's focus on completing democratic infrastructure and pilgrim facilities ahead of scheduled events.
