HUDCO and RITES inks deal for infrastructure projects

Housing and Urban Development Corporation Ltd. (HUDCO) and RITES Ltd., a transport consultancy and engineering company in India, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for various infrastructure projects. Under this agreement, RITES and HUDCO will collaborate on a wide range of infrastructure-related consulting projects and services, from conception to commissioning.

The partnership between the two Navratna CPSEs will not only cover sectors such as metro rail, roads, airports, ports, ropeways, highways, underpasses, flyovers, and tunnels but also focus on emerging areas like energy, water resources and hydropower, wastewater and waste management, urban and industrial building design, commercial and institutional projects, and other initiatives related to urban development and infrastructure.
