ABB India Wins Rs 1.73 Billion Wind Turbine Order

ABB India has secured an order worth Rs 1.735 billion from Siemens Gamesa Renewable Power, Chennai, for the supply of 3.X wind turbine converters and electrical cabinets. The contract will be executed on a built-to-print basis, with manufacturing and supply scheduled from ABB’s Nelamangala factory between January and December 2026.
The order strengthens ABB India’s footprint in the renewable energy sector, particularly wind power, and supports Siemens Gamesa’s efforts in expanding clean energy infrastructure across the country.
ABB India, a major player in electrification, process automation, motion systems, and robotics, is known for delivering technology solutions that drive energy efficiency and sustainability.
Despite this new order, the company reported a standalone net profit decline of 20.68 per cent to Rs 351.74 crore for Q1 FY26, even as revenue from operations rose 12.17 per cent to Rs 3.18 billion compared to Q1 FY25.
Shares of ABB India rose 0.65 per cent to Rs 5,033.75 on the BSE following the announcement.
