TK Elevator Expands Installation, Service Partnership at Hong Kong Airport
TK Elevator has recently announced the expansion of its new installation and Universal Service partnership with Hong Kong International Airport, extending a long-standing collaboration focused on efficient and reliable passenger mobility.
Under the renewed four-year maintenance contract, TK Elevator will provide services for more than 300 elevators, escalators and moving walks, including both TKE and third-party equipment. With this renewal, a total of 358 mobility units across the airport are now under TKE maintenance, reinforcing the company’s ability to deliver OEM-level support across multiple brands.
This marks TK Elevator’s third consecutive four-year contract renewal with the airport, highlighting over a decade of customer-centric service delivery. The scope includes maintenance of 282 units serving Terminal 1, along with more than 70 third-party units installed at the new Terminal 2.
The partnership also extends to new installations linked to the ongoing expansion of Terminal 2. As part of this development, 96 additional TKE elevators are currently being installed, while a further 78 mobility units are being added at the Terminal 2 Concourse.
Beyond maintenance and installation, TK Elevator solutions are already embedded in key airport infrastructure. Its iwalk modular moving walk system powers the airport’s Skybridge, recognised as the world’s longest airside bridge and winner of the Project of the Year 2025 award in the Moving Walks category by Elevator World magazine.
Commenting on the development, Jürgen Böhler, CEO Asia Pacific, TK Elevator, said the renewed partnership reflects TKE’s commitment to supporting Hong Kong International Airport’s role as a major aviation and logistics hub within the Greater Bay Area through innovative and reliable mobility solutions.
The expanded agreement further positions TK Elevator as a trusted long-term partner for large-scale transport infrastructure, supporting seamless passenger movement and operational efficiency across one of the world’s busiest airports.
