Mira Road Crane Collapse Kills One, Injures Three

One person was killed and three others were injured after a tower crane collapsed from the 13th floor of an under-construction building at the JP North residential complex in Mira Road East, Thane, recently.

The deceased was identified as Mujammil Khokhar. The falling crane struck several cars and motorcycles parked inside the residential complex, causing extensive damage and panic among residents and passers-by.

Police and emergency response teams reached the site and carried out rescue and relief operations. The cause of the crane collapse has not yet been established, and an investigation into the incident is underway.
