Arbitration for Mhalunge Maan township to be submit in 2023

Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) officials are set to submit the conclusive arbitration report for the Mhalunge Maan town planning scheme to the state authorities for approval in November. This important development comes after nearly five years of deliberation since the proposal's inception in 2018.

The Mhalunge Maan town planning (TP) scheme is designed to benefit approximately 5,800 beneficiaries, encompassing 510 plots. Under this scheme, beneficiaries are entitled to an area equivalent to 50% of their land in the township.

PMRDA Deputy Collector Ramdas Jagtap stated, ""We have presented the status of all six TP schemes to Guardian Minister Ajit Pawar."" It is noteworthy that the central government has allocated a significant infrastructure fund of Rs 25 crore for the Mhalunge Maan project. Additionally, apart from the Mhalunge Maan scheme, five other schemes, namely Vadachiwadi, Autunde Handewadi, two at Holkarwadi, and Manjari Kolwadi, are under the purview of the urban development department.

The impending submission of the arbitration report for the Mhalunge Maan town planning scheme is expected to be a milestone in the development of the region, providing much-needed clarity and progress in this crucial urban planning initiative. This move underscores the region's commitment to enhancing its infrastructure and accommodating the needs of its residents.
