BOMAG, a global leader in compaction technology and road construction equipment, continues to grow its strong presence in India. At the heart of this growth is our advanced manufacturing facility in Chakan, Pune one of India’s most dynamic industrial hubs.

Spread across a 22,000 sq. m site, the Pune India plant is more than just a production unit it is a symbol of our long-term commitment to India and to infrastructure development worldwide. This facility not only supports local needs but also plays a key role in export operations across the globe.

Scaling up with purpose

BOMAG India has achieved key milestones in its production capabilities and is on track for substantial growth. We are expanding our capacity to meet increasing demand, with plans to scale up production of rollers and light equipment in the coming years. These ambitious goals reflect our confidence in the Indian market and our commitment to being a reliable global supplier.

Our India facility is equipped with modern production lines that uphold the highest global quality standards. Each product is engineered for durability, performance, and operator comfort.

In December 2024, we proudly launched the BW 212-5 CL, a single drum roller that is 100 per cent made in India from ideation to final production. It marks a significant step in our “Make in India for India” strategy, with more India-developed machines planned soon.

Every machine undergoes rigorous performance, safety, and durability testing before it leaves the plant. Our in-house facilities ensures that each unit is job-site ready no compromises, no surprises.

We understand how critical uptime is in construction. At our Pune facility, we have built a robust service parts inventory to ensure quick response times. Backed by a skilled team of service engineers, we’re always ready to provide technical expertise and deliver timely solutions to our customers.
