Batliboi Wins Rs 520 Mn Contract For Solar Cell Pollution Controls

Batliboi Limited has secured a major contract from SAEL Industries Limited to supply pollution control systems for a new solar cell manufacturing facility at Jewar in Uttar Pradesh. The order instructs Batliboi Limited's EEG Division to design, engineer, supply, install and commission a PEX system to support SAEL Industries Limited's six GW solar cell line. The contract is domestic in origin and was submitted to the stock exchanges under regulatory disclosure requirements.

The contract value is Rs 520 mn, reflecting a substantial order for environmental control equipment for the manufacturing line. Under the terms, Batliboi Limited will deliver a turnkey solution encompassing engineering, procurement and construction activities for air and effluent management. Project execution will follow regulatory standards and the company will manage installation and commissioning at the Jewar site.

The project is expected to be commissioned in the next six to eight months, with timelines set for phased delivery and system integration. The company confirmed that the engagement will not constitute a related party transaction and that promoters and group companies have no interest in SAEL Industries Limited. The award reinforces Batliboi Limited's presence in the renewable energy supply chain and its capabilities in pollution control systems.

Execution for the PEX system will be undertaken by Batliboi Limited's EEG Division and will focus on meeting operational requirements of the solar cell line. The firm will coordinate with the client on testing and commissioning to ensure compliance with environmental norms and production targets. The disclosure to the stock exchange follows Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements.

The company expects the project to strengthen its order book and contribute to revenue recognition over the coming quarters as installations progress. Operational teams will implement quality checks and coordinate supply chain activities to meet the project timeline. Shareholders were informed through the company's stock exchange filing in line with compliance obligations.
