KP Energy commissions 50.4 MW wind project for NTPC Renewable

KP Energy Ltd has commissioned the first phase of a 50.4 MW wind power project for NTPC Renewable Energy at Vanki, Nakhatrana, in Kutch district of Gujarat.
The commissioned capacity comprises 16 Suzlon wind turbine generators (WTGs), each with a rated capacity of 3.15 MW. The project achieved its Commercial Operation Date (COD) from July 8, 2026.
Developed by KP Energy, the project marks another addition to the company's utility-scale wind energy portfolio and reinforces its presence in India's renewable energy sector. The company said the project was executed with a focus on timely delivery and large-scale infrastructure development.
Commenting on the commissioning, Dr Faruk G Patel, Founder, Chairman and Managing Director, KP Group, said the project reflects the company's commitment to delivering renewable energy infrastructure while supporting India's clean energy transition.
KP Energy provides engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) as well as operations and maintenance (O&M) services for wind energy projects. The company develops turnkey wind farm solutions across the country.
KP Group, the parent company, has interests in solar, wind, hybrid power, green hydrogen and infrastructure development. It is working towards commissioning more than 10 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030 as part of its long-term clean energy strategy.
